Sancott is please to present for your consideration this antique Persian is IZNIK pottery flask. Beautifully painted with a bird among branches - in vibrant polychrome along the grayish brown stoneware body this flask measures 5 inches tall by 3 inches wide.
Some crazing to the glaze- as expected and one small chip to the inner rim- as well as the normal discoloration to the body and glaze from the wood fired kiln. Thank you for viewing this auction.
