You're bidding on a solid sterling silver Bon Bon or Nut server by Reed & Barton. This is in very good condition with minor/light surface scratches consistent with normal use. Yes, it could definitely use a bit of polishing which I will leave to the lucky winner. 
PLEASE NOTE:  Being shown as found and I did NOT polish it. Most of my buyers tell me not to polish the items. I use a macro setting to capture as much detail as possible. Keep in mind when using the zoom tool that you are seeing the item magnified and enlarged many times over.
