I do not know with 100% certainty if these were made into shorts or manufactured as shorts, however I think they are originally shorts. If they were altered into shorts, they did a fantastic job, as it looks original. Also, these are 100% cotton, so I do not know if any shrinkage has occurred. Please note my actual measurements below to ensure expected fit. These are a very high rise, so keep that in mind with the 26" waist measurement.

Also, there is a VERY faint spot along zip closure, but it is not visible during wear. Please use the zoom feature on all photos for best details.
