Here is an original photograph printed on paper of a group of ruins in front of a mountain. It is not identified on the picture, but  I believe it is an early image of Fort Davis and "Sleeping Lion Mountain" in the Davis mountains of West Texas. It was found among the old photos of Rust Studio in Beeville. Rust Studio was founded by Jennie Rust Dugat who came to Texas in about 1900 from Missouri. She was Beeville's first female photographer, and in addition to studio portraits, she liked to take outdoor pictures of historical interest around Texas. This was obviously taken during one of her many trips around the state. The photo is black and white and measures 3 "x 5" and has nothing written on back, but the date is written at the bottom front, as 1938.
