No.4 Vertical Steam Engine Casting Kit with Reversing Gear Casting Kit

Clearing out the workshop of my late uncle. He had machined several steam kits over the years, these are two of many kits that he never got around to building.

Both kits appear to be complete with all parts, as shown, as ordered from Stuart Turner. Each kit comes with working drawings as shown. I compared the parts that I have, against online photos of past auctions as a reference to establish whether or not the kits were complete. I would suggest that you view all pictures, and draw you own conclusions. One of the boxes had an original invoice in it, it is dated 1973...making these kits over 50 years old. My understanding is that the older castings are of a better quality than the modern castings, based upon online opinion.

Buyer will receive exactly what is shown, so please examine all pictures carefully.

The kit features iron castings that will require machining in order to build the kit.

I do not want to "borrow" a picture of a completed model from Stuart Engines, but you can visit their website to see an example of a finished model.
