Console was tested and console automatically puts itself in dvi mode. You have to manually change settings to hdmi. Once you change the settings, them settings will stay that way until factory reset. I’ll list instructions below on how to change the settings. Console only. No cords and no controller included. Step 1: during initial setup, Xbox will ask to change display. Change display to 1080P.

Step 2: after setup, when on Home Screen, go to settings, general, tv and display options.

Step 3: go to advanced and click on video fidelity & overscan.

Step 4: display, change to hdmi.

Step 5: go to settings, general, tv and display options. Under display, change resolution to 1080p.

After that the console should have sound, if you still don’t have sound or low sound then go back to general settings/audio & sound. From there change sound the stereo uncompressed.
