Back in 1955 when I was only 5 years old my mother took me to an auction in our small town, Oxford in Massachusetts, and I fell in love with this little round glass piece with roses along the edges and a rosebud on the lid. My mom let me bid on it and since I was a little kid the auctioneer thought it was cute and let me be the winning bidder. The auctioneer called it a candy dish and that is how we used it for all these years. He said the pattern was called "Roses in the Snow" and I searched high and low to find out more about it with no success.  Yesterday I stumbled upon the Jeannette Glass company information and discovered that it was a glass powder puff container.
Anyway, I am downsizing and the time has come for me to list it.
I hope you enjoy it for the next 70 years as I have.
Whenever possible I ship using recycled mailers, boxes, padding, etc. I am a one-person business that believes in the importance of recycling.
