This small oval SHENANGO dish is white with blue trim.
Made in New Castle, PA.
Probably originally intended as an individual butter pat dish.
Date printed on back shows it was manufactured in February 1928.
Edged with two navy blue lines.
There is a circular design in blue that shows 13 tiny stars and what appears to be a bird that looks like a Phoenix.
I researched but was unable to find this pattern.
Measures 5 1/2” x 4 1/8” x 3/4”.
SHENANGO made chinaware for restaurants and other companies.
This would be an excellent vintage piece to use as a trinket or soap dish.
Thank you for looking.
