The little Church Owl keeps warm in his feathered suit as he watches over the skyline of Copenhagen and listens to the bells of the Church of Our Lady from his nook at the old Copenhagen University. He pays close attention as Copenhageners flock from the busy streets of the city center to enter the quietness of the grand church to enjoy the silence and revel in the beauty of the lavish sculptures by Bertel Thorvaldsen. The Annual Plates have been issued every year since 1908. The relief for the motif has been hand-cut by Royal Copenhagen’s talented modelling artists based on a drawing of the motif by artist, Allan Therkelsen, and the plate has been cut according to proud craftsmanship traditions.

Our Guarantee

If you are not delighted with your purchase from Porcelains Ltd. you may return it in its original condition within 14 days of receipt for a full refund of the purchase price, less shipping and handling fees. Item must have our identifying mark for return.  If the return is due to a manufacturing defect, we will refund your entire purchase price and pay for the return shipping. Please contact us first before making a return, so that we may expect and expedite your return. When returning your item please send it back with the original packaging and include your name, address, and order information so that we may properly credit your account.
