RARE PERDIZ CULTURE BIRD POINT KNIFE. I seldom use the "rare" adjective, but this is the exception rather than the rule. This fine prehistoric Native American artifact is our of a Central Texas collection. It is 1.75" long, almost 1" wide and a little less than .25" thick. It is a Perdiz Culture bird point knife. It is estimated to be 500 to 1,000 years old and is in very good condition with traces of Texas soil, nice patina and minor ancient damage. This is a fine prehistoric tool that was used hundreds of years ago in the daily life of the American Indian.
