Edwardian Titanic Era Black White Polka Dot Print Silk Lace Sleeve Dress

This antique Edwardian Titanic era black and white polka dot print silk lace sleeve dress dates from 1912. It is made of a black and white polka dot print silk fabric with a sheer white cobweb lace undersleeves. This beautiful black and white polka dot dress is a long floor length, with a full skirt, pleated details on the bodice top, short sleeves with white lace long undersleeves, decorative silk button trim down the front top, an attached belted waist, hook closures down the back and is lined inside the top only with a white cotton muslin. The dress measures 54 inches long, with a 38 inch chest, 25 inch waist, 60 inch hips and 22 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, with some slight fade discoloration from black to blue on the silk fabric, a few tiny frayed holes on the lace sleeves, tiny pin holes, some faint stains on the inside top lining and small tape residue on the bottom hem skirt (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
