lens is in very nice condition. There are no scratches, coating loss, or cleaning marks on either the front or rear elements. Focusing is buttery smooth and aperture stops are precise and smooth to get to throughout the range. I had this lens CLA's by Clarence Gass about 6 years ago, but I cannot find any proof of that, so make of it what you will. Am pricing it as if that was not done.
Very little internal dust. No oil on blades, fungus, or separation of elements.
There is some wear on the barrel as seen in the photos, so it does not appear exactly 'as new' in terms of the barrel, but the optical elements are in great shape.
Comes with new aftermarket front cap and no rear cap.
Small-ish lens with great ergonomics and handling, which yields very nice results.
