An original Civil War letter dated 1863 Chattanooga Tennessee. In one area it looks like it says,........3 or 4 weeks before I came to the Reg I could not walk 2 miles to save me...............I hope and trust that that this war will be over and I can return home to to my most loved wife...........
The letter has wear and stain marks.
