This would be an excellent camera for someone wanting a full-frame DSLR. Image quality is excellent even for today, with good low-light performance and reliable autofocus. It's built of solid magnesium and mine has weathered temperatures below freezing with no issues. The 5D Mark II has been a workhorse for amateurs and pros alike, and many wedding photographers are still shooting with the 5DMII every day.
