Billet aluminum hood hinges for 81-87 Chevy truck with a steel hood. The hinges are precision CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum in the USA and are a direct bolt-on to update the stamped factory hinge and coil spring assembly. For smooth operation a bearing is incorporated at the pivot point and stainless steel nitrogen gas struts are used for dampening.
