Offered is this charming
set of SIX fine porcelain china tea cups and saucers made in Tokyo, Japan, by
Okura Art China, probably in the 1950s and ‘60s. The white blank is decorated
with gilded grapevines and leaves. Small clusters of purple grapes are hand
enameled.
The inside of each cup
and the well of each saucer is covered with gold.
The gold grape-leaf designs
feature matte gold in the middle with bright gold outlining the edges.
Gold trim decorates the
rims and handles.
The saucers measure 4.5
inches in diameter.
The cups measure 2.24
inches in diameter and stand 1 7/8 inches high. They will hold about 4 ounces.
We believe these to be a

strong after-dinner coffee such as espresso.
Very good used
condition. No chips or cracks. Gold trim in very good condition.
