This is a mid century Made in Japan porcelain sleeping cat toothpick holder that measures 3 inches long by 2.5 inches high.  Shown in a lying position with its eyes closed, it waits peacefully for the next person to take a toothpick.

The condition is very good and its age is from the 1960's.
