Interesting 1999 abstract pastel cityscape of New York, titled "Manhattan Simplified," by New York and Italian artist Thomas Corey (b. 1950). Corey studied at Swain School of Design and Brooklyn College. He worked in Philip Pearlstein's studio in the 1970s before moving to Italy in the late 1970s where he has lived and worked since. He has exhibited in Europe and New York regularly since the 1970s.

This abstact pastel is signed lower left, measures 9.5" x 7.25" (sight size), and is in good condition. It is also signed and titled on frame backing. Framed as shown.
