1920s-1930s Art Deco Australian Mark 15ct Gold Seed
Pearl Ribbon Bow Brooch 4.2g
This exquisite brooch is estimated to be a quality piece of
jewellery from the art deco era of the 1920s through 1930s. It is marked with
Australian pictorial marks of a unicorn and a fleece either side of “15ct” for
its 625 yellow gold fineness.
It has a solid ribbon frame in the traditional shape of a tied
bow. The ribbon and “knot” centre is set with fine graduated seed pearls with a
good lustre. It is fitted with a simple pin and hook hasp to the back.
