This is an archive of about 100 original production cels- used in early Hanna barbera cartoons.

Note- About half are just mouth / lips / eyes. There are no backgrounds or compete figures. It’s heads and torsos and parts of the process.

These are all hand painted. And numbered for position in the stream.

The cels were saved from the garbage by a friend of Glen and Alan Leopold in the 1990s. Probably while the studio was being absorbed by Warner.

The studio was purging files. Sadly - most cels from this era were destroyed at one time or another.

I believe all are 1960s production used cels.

Most are flintstones. There are some Top Cat and a couple yogi bear

They seem to be very well preserved.

The genius of the drawn animation process is exposed - these are a treasure for many who grew up watching Hanna Barbera genius.
