The front and rear lenses of the lens are multi-coated with a subtle violet-green tint.

The ring closest to the camera is for focusing. It is quite wide and has a comfortable knurling. Convenient to use.

The full stroke of the helicoid is about 270 degrees. The stroke is long, which is very convenient when focusing at portrait distances. MDF 0.8 meters.

The diaphragm consists of 15 blades. At any aperture value they form perfectly even circles. Jupiter-9 is one of the lenses with the smoothest circles in the blur zone.
