Mir 1 37 mm f/2.8 Grand prix Brussel m39 Silver Wide angle lens USSR
Mir-1 37 mm f/ 2.8 is an interchangeable wide-angle fast lens. Equipped with an iris diaphragm with a device for its pre-installation. Coated optics

Received the Grand Prix at the World Exhibition in Brussels (Expo 58) in 1958. In 1959, the lens was awarded a 2nd degree Diploma from the USSR Exhibition of Economic Achievements.

The optical design of the Mir-1 37 mm f/ 2.8 was designed by D. S. Volosov in 1954 for glass formulations available in the USSR based on the Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 35 mm f/ 2.8 lens, produced after World War II by the Carl Zeiss plant in Jena. Has a diverging meniscus as the first lens, which significantly reduces vignetting when shooting at an open aperture

Recommended for all types of filming. It was noted that it is especially valuable when shooting, requiring special sharpness of all image details.

The Mir-1 37 mm f/ 2.8 lens really produces a fairly sharp image. At the same time, the “volume” of the image is well preserved.
