Vintage Footwear Flyer - United States Rubber Company - c.1915 - Rare

This folding flyer is from the United States Rubber Company, US Rubber System and Associated Companies (per the logo). The front cover shows a knee high rubber boot and says "New Patent Process Rubber Footwear, The Twentieth Century improvement over the original Goodyear discovery of vulcanization". The back cover shows a lace-up work boot and says "Pressure Process All Duck Hy-Bootee, US Rubber Co Distributors Syracuse, NY", along with more text and an agent’s stamp. The inside is labeled "New Patent Process of Vulcanization" with more descriptive text following. It measures 3.5"x6" when closed, 7"x6" open. It came with a group of related catalogs from 1914-1915 (see my other listings), so I assume it is also from that time period. The brochure is in pretty nice condition for a century old, with only a touch of wear, including a very fine line on the cover as shown. This is a rare item.

Please see the photo. I’ve provided the information that I like to see when I am buying things for myself, so I hope it’s complete. If not, please email any questions.

If you prefer to pick this item up, any of my listings are also available in Bean Station, Tennessee (less than 1 hour NE of Knoxville and 1 hour from the Smoky Mountains). Thanks very much for looking.
