Description

A gorgeous art book containing 113 works including “Tsukiji Akashicho”

Kiyokata Kaburaki is a master of modern Japanese painting who has left behind numerous masterpieces, including his masterpiece Tsukiji Akashicho, which was released in 2019 for the first time in 44 years and became a hot topic.

``Kiyokata Kaburagi Bijinga Collection'' is a large B4-sized art collection, commemorating the 50th anniversary of Kiyokata's death, containing 113 works, mainly bijinga.

This book divides Kiyokata's works into six themes: ``Tsukiji Akashicho Trilogy,'' ``Remembrances of the Meiji Era,'' ``Weaving a Story,'' ``A Longing for Edo,'' ``City People,'' and ``Admiring the Seasons.'' I would like to introduce it to you.

What is noteworthy is that more than 40% of the published works, including the Tsukiji Akashicho trilogy, were newly photographed using the latest digital cameras, providing high-quality close-ups of women's faces and kimono patterns. Published many times. As a result, we have created an unprecedentedly luxurious art book that allows you to enjoy the beautiful colors and brushstrokes of Kiyokata's works as if you were viewing them up close.

Furthermore, all of the works listed come with detailed explanations by experts, so you can clearly understand the points to appreciate.
