Thank you for taking the time to read my terms

Please only bid if you are aware of the postage and packing costs. I try to keep postage and packaging charges to a minimum. I describe all items honestly and to the best of my ability, with as much detail as I think will be helpful. I would not profess to be an expert on all items that I offer for sale, so the descriptions should only be used as a guide. I do not deliberately attempt to cover up any blemishes, although I am not infallible so I can not rule out the possibility of oversight. Let me know if you are not satisfied with the quality and state of a particular item as this will undoubtedly be the outcome of an unintentional lapse!

As I am sure that those ebayers who deal with me on a regular basis will agree, I am a very reasonable and accommodating individual. With those bidders who behave decently, I am willing to discuss any problems regarding descriptions, postage or packaging. Should you have any problems with an item that I am selling, I am confident that we shall be able to work out a mutually agreeable outcome. Please do not leave negative or neutral feedback before speaking to me as it is almost inevitably unnecessary.

DELIVERY

All postage options quoted cover postage and packaging. I set P and P charging at a minimum and am not generally open to discussion with regard to the standard P and P charges offered on items. Should bidders wish to ask for alternative postal options then clearly charges will change accordingly.

UK customers ? Royal Mail First Class is standard. Those winning bidders who require a different service - email me on receipt of invoice to let me know your preferences. I will then let you know the change in associated costs. Unless the item is particularly heavy, please do not ask for Second Class service as I tend to send parcels in bulk and therefore wish to avoid any administrative complications. I hate unnecessary admin!

For overseas delivery ? Royal Mail Airmail

Customers are responsible for all import and local taxes and all parcels are labelled accordingly with a description of contents for overseas shipping. Signed for can be provided, but costs seem to be extortionate.

I pack all my items carefully. I will always provide proof of posting.

PAYMENT TERMS

I prefer payment within a week of the end of the auction. I am not an unreasonable man, so if bidders have particular problems in making payment on time I will be willing to accept limited delays (provided that some sort of explanation is offered in the mean time)

UK customers ? I accept Paypal or personal cheques in GBP

Overseas customers ? I accept Paypal only

Bidders outside the UK please note ? If overseas postage is not quoted in the details, please email me before bidding so that I can offer postage options that best suit your requirements. Thank you.

Multiple purchases are combined for shipment where weight allows.

I will post items within a week of the receipt of payment. Generally I tend to get things sent off within 2-3 days of payment. In the event of holidays and ?crises? I shall post notices on my item descriptions.

Good luck and please take a look at my page of military journals, ephemera and antiques
