11 1/2" tall teenage fashion doll has hair that can can "grow" in length by pressing the button on her abdomin, or be shortened with the turn of a key placed in a slot on her back (key not included here). This plastic doll has painted facial features and is jointed at the neck, arms and legs. The doll has an identifying mark on the back of her head: American Char. 1963 in a circle. She wears her original red dress.
In fine used condition, this Tressy doll has been played with. She is fully intact, her features remain strong, her hair remains shiny. The hair-grow button still works but the action is a bit stiff. There is NO hair retraction key. Tressy's chest has been damaged (perhaps from being stepped on) but there are only mild indentations (see detail photo). The plastic remains strong and has no cracks. The portion of Tressy's hair that does not grow has some wear on the very back of her head in an area that is covered by the "growing" hair. Original owner; stored in non-smoking environment.
