Here's another great item from the REM fan club only series. I am selling this on consignment for the original owner.

REM takes on the Christmas classic "Silver Bells" for this entry. The flip side is an instrumental rendition of "Christmas Time is Here," a song by the Vince Guaraldi Trio made famous by its appearance in the 1960s television classic, "It's a Charlie Brown Christmas."

Usually when you find these at collectible record outlets, it’s just the vinyl in its sleeve, and usually not in great condition. In this case, both the record and sleeve are in Near Mint condition, and so is the original Christmas card that was included in the mailer. Another rarity: the actual mailer that the package arrived in is included in this lot. You don't see the mailers with these records very often -- and they are about as cool as what's inside.

The record is numbered 3,853 out of 6,000 printed.

The mailer is made out of rigid, heavy cardboard and is in very good condition, with some minor bumping to the corners. The original mailing label has been removed -- leaving the mailer intact but stained (the dark area that can be seen in the photo).

The greeting card is not made from card stock, more of a flexible parchment paper, featuring a beautiful color print on the outside, and an inspiring definition of "change" on the inside, followed by the first names of the band members, and four more first names, presumably of their significant others. It is in perfect condition.
