This work is one of a collection of oil paintings by Edouard Henry-Baudot the french figure and animal painter. This collection of paintings are works that have been oin the artists family and were eft in the painters studio upon his death . Some of the collection are unfinished and some are fragmnets of larger works which the artist likely cut down or never completed. They will look amazing framed and have great decorator appeal in their current condition or could be restored. Large works by the painter have sold for upto £14,000 at auction.

Painter. Genre scenes, animals.
Henry-Baudot was a member of the Salon des Artistes Français from 1894 onwards, and of the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts from 1910. He exhibited almost exclusively at this society. He painted many scenes of horses racing, as well as wild animals.
