Discontinued, beautiful Aurora fountain pen Astile, cartridge and case included

Description

Thank you for visiting.
As part of my collection cleanup, I am selling a beautiful brown marble lacquer scroll from Aurora's "Astile" from the 1970s or 1980s.
Two Pelikan blue-black cartridges and, although not original, a nice Aurora case and instruction manual are also included.

This model has been out of production for a long time and current converters cannot be used with it, but European standard cartridges can be used.
You can enjoy your favorite colors by refilling the cartridge with bottled ink using a syringe or similar.

When you think of Aurora, you might think of a thick, flashy barrel like the Optima, but the Astir is a thinner, simpler model that still exudes elegance.
After its release, its design was highly praised, and the Astir's sterling silver barrel was the first writing instrument to be inducted into the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Furthermore, its design inspired the creation of Schaefer's Targa and Montblanc's Noblesse, and it remains highly popular today as a historic model among Aurora watches.

This product is a marble lacquer that is rarely seen even at Astile, and is in excellent condition with no visible scratches.
It closes with a snap, with no wobbly clips or loose caps.
Ideally, I would like it to be in "near-new condition," but since it's an expensive item, I'm being strict.
It is unclear whether the engraving on the neck is a serial number or a model name.

When I tried it out, I found it to have the firm, sturdy feel that is typical of Aurora, yet with a unique elasticity to it.
At times the flow can be a bit stiff when writing, but I think it will become easier as you get used to it.
The large, spherical pen point makes it easy to add expression to your letters by varying the pressure you apply to your writing, and it's sure to become a fun fountain pen once you get used to using it.
