This Tax & MOT exempt 1976 Suzuki GT250A has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life.

This and the fact it's only showing 11716 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain its boyish good looks.

We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

As you can see this bike is virtually complete & remarkably original.

It has stood a while, so the battery is flat, paintwork is faded, tyres & seat cover are perished, master cylinder is not working & carburettors are stuck.

Sadly, the bulk of cosmetic bright chrome is pitted.

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.

This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures.

The wheels look straight with pitted chrome rims, good hubs & brake plate, disc & caliper.

Forks & yokes look straight with useable chrome & clean alloy.

Mudguards are both solid, but front is badly pitted/rusty.

Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers.

Instruments & switches look good.

Paintwork is slightly faded but solid, fuel tank needs a good clean inside and has just minor dents/marks & scratches in the original paint.

Exhausts are original & solid but pitted.

Seat base is in good condition throughout.

Indicators are tidy.

Chain guard is tidy.

The engine is cosmetically very clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression.

We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.
