Jupiter-12 lens is compact.

The focus ring is at the very end of the lens. It is quite far from the camera body, and is made ribbed. The width of the ring is sufficient and it is convenient to use

The lens is relatively fast. Maximum aperture 2.8.

The aperture control ring is located on the front end of the lens.

The ring itself is very wide and represents almost the entire internal funnel-shaped surface of the front part of the lens. But to rotate the ring, the notch is applied only to its front thin end.
