MICRO SEIKI DD-5 Record Player
MICRO Direct Drive Record Player DD-5. The sound is very solid, and the compact and simple design is popular. This record player allows you to enjoy your audio life with ease.
☆Condition
Each part has been polished/cleaned.
The dust cover is polished with a special abrasive depending on the level of scratches, and the finish is polished to enhance transparency. The arm, platter, and metal parts are polished to remove dirt and rust as much as possible.
Dust cover/Button part/Platter/Rubber mat
- There is no noticeable damage to the cover and it is beautiful with a transparent look.
- There is no major damage to the buttons or platter.
- The rubber mat is also soft without deterioration or warping.
Cabinet
- There is fading due to aging on the rear of the left side, but there is no other noticeable damage and it is glossy overall.
- All four insulators are functioning, and the hinges remain open without any wear.
Tonearm
- There is no major damage, it is glossy, and it is in good condition. The RCA connector has been replaced with an Amphenol connector.
Overall, it is in good condition.
Considering its age, we judge it to be a good product.
☆We have tested it for half a day to a day to check its operation.
In preparation for this listing, we have performed a total maintenance and operation check. We measured the electronic parts/lubricated the spindle with oil/cleaned each contact and adjusted each part.
It is in a condition that you can use with confidence.
Turntable
It works well, the start/stop button responds, and it rotates normally. The stable rotation has been confirmed with a stroboscope. There is no problem with switching between 33/45 rotations, and the rotation adjustment is smooth.
- The light also lights up without any bulb burnouts.
*This item is common to 50/60Hz.
Tonearm
- The UP/DOWN lever allows the lifter to descend smoothly. (Oil refilled)
- Anti-skating adjustment/operation is also good.
- The tonearm height can also be adjusted.
There are no problems with all of the above operations, and the product is in good working order.
