Antique Burl Wood Oval Octagonal Picture Frame Gilt Gold Floral Victorian Art Nouveau Deco 17" x 10" No Glass

Condition:
This is a beautiful antique picture frame.  It is made of wood with some gesso floral details.  It has burl wood with gold gilt edging and a floral motif in the center of each side.  There is a touch of blue on each flower.  It is a large oval or octagonal shape.  It does NOT include any glass or backing.  It does still have the nails.  It measures 20" x 13" x 1".  The viewing area is 17" x 10".  It weighs 1 lb 3 oz.  It is in good condition.  One little chip on the gesso could easily be touched up.  It has signs of wear to the gilding, consistent with age.  I think it has a lovely patina and a beautiful shape and design.  Please see the photos for specifics on the condition of this gilded burl wood frame.
