This movement was found in the estate of a watchmaker. It is French, verge fusee, unsigned. It has a good balance. It has a good chain, and the movement runs when I wind it, but it is sluggish. The repeat does not work. It is a plunger repeat movement. This movement is really dirty. Looks like it has not been cleaned in decades. The top plate measures 45mm in diameter, and the back plate is 38mm in diameter. There is a dial here. It measures 39.5mm in diameter. It features a painted courting scene. The dial has some old repairs (around the center hole, and at the left edge). I do not see how the dial attaches. I believe there is perhaps a dial ring missing, or maybe it was not from this watch. I have not serviced or gone through this movement. So I am offering it as is in need of restoration with no reserve. Buyer pays shipping, $7 in USA. Thank you.
