This record deck features a highly accurate quartz controlled electronic servo circuit magnetic tangential drive system with no moving parts and no physical contact with the turntable. It has a computerized control system which identifies the correct record size and playing speed, and features fast or slow track scanning. The pickup arm uses the MMC2 1.6 gram diamond stylus cartridge. The Beogram 8002 was a "state of the art" product with a performance capability as near ideal as anyone had up until then devised. Can be used alone or with the Beosystem 8000 music system which also contains the Beomaster 8000 tuner amplifier, and the Beocord cassette deck (see seller's other ads).
