This listing is for Vintage Rare Snake In A Basket Mechanical Spring + Battery Toy Needs Work Read. I have been unable to find a maker, history of the item, or any similar one online. Currently non working, but great for display. It looks to be complete, and could possibly be restored. A great item for collectors of hard to find toys, for display as is or restoration.

It has some rusting on the bottom, I have not opened it up at all to avoid any damage. Battery compartment is poor, but I believe it could be replaced and the innards salvaged along with the rest.
