An original World War Two letter including the cover that was written by Lieutenant Eugene Valic who was in the 255th Infantry. It is dated 1945. In one area he says,.......Dad mentioned also about the Hooker getting a share of the glory in the discovery of the Atomic Bomb. Sounds splendid but they should not waist any precious time in inventing a countermeasure to check the devastation and the extinction of mankind which is possible through means of this new toy. I have very little hope that peace will last during our life time..............           The cover has the send to address of  Niagara Falls New York.

I currently have other items listed that belonged to this individual.

The letter and cover have some wear and stain marks.
