ANTIQUE 1910'S ERA....AND ORIGINAL OWNER CONSIDERED EXTREMELY RARE, USED BY A MINING COMPANY IN YAVAPAI COUNTY ARIZONA old mining tag / exonumia /  tag which says " U. D. M. #256 (UNCLE DUDLEY MINING COMPANY)" which original owner said used in the region near the town of   PRESCOTT,  ARIZONA (YAVAPAI COUNTY)

This is the only one in the collection from this region....This is the only tag from this rare mining region which was located near present day "PRESCOTT" Arizona...and this company also documented in Garbani catalog.

This comes out of a lifetime collection of ARIZONA MINING TAGS from all over the state of Arizona which I will be auctioning off....the original owner considered this one "extremely rare" and used in the region of "PRESCOTT".....the only one in collection area in Yavapai Co

This tag was used by a well documented mining company called "UNCLE DUDLEY MINING CO" and listed in the book "Arizona Mines and Mining Companies" by James Garbani. (by far, the best resource for identifying a lot of these Arizona mine tags). It shows used in the Prescott Mining District.....i think possibly this mine company is in the Copper Basin region a few miles from Prescott...but catalog just says "Prescott" and it was found in that region.

The town of Prescott is located in Yavapai County, not far from Prescott Valley, Dewey-Humboldt and Mayer Arizona

OLD MINING TAGS ARE GETTING TOUGHER TO FIND..THIS IS A RARE ONE !!!!

Mining company tag is brass, round shaped with suspension hole, about 38mm in size, and overall displays well. (please see pictures in gallery)...and  unique issue #256...in great shape with patina intact
