This Spirit Kettle was made by S. Sternau & Co., in Brooklyn, New York, USA.
The company started operations in 1893 and ended in 1921.
This Kettle dates to the late 1890s and is stamped on the bottom with the Sternau logo.
The kettle has an ornate tri-footed stand and the kettle fit in to it perfectly.
It has a lid with a wooden turned handle and the handle can be folded down.
It does not have the burner that would have fit into the stand.
Together, the Spirit Kettle measures approx. 10-1/2 tall and approx. 7 inches in length at the spout and approx. 5-1/2 inches wide.
The lid fits snug. I could use more polishing.
This would make a great addition to your collection!
