The SSS-OP retains the character of the Original Bauhaus straight sopranos below, in that the colour of tone and projection are still excellent, and the basic materials used are the same. This saxophone is very solid, very playable, and very stable in tone and range. It is also immediate in response: one facet of a one-piece body is that it eliminates any problems that might be caused by having a detachable crook.
