We now have a small batch of plug and play Greaseweazle F1 drives for sale. These devices connect via USB to a PC with a lovely GUI software interface (or Mac with command line) and can read and write any format 3 1/2” floppy disks, even those original software disks with copy protection.
It’s best use we think is for converting your old sampler and synth floppy disks so they can be used with our USB floppy drive emulators.
The drives will work with standard DD and HD disk formats and use either ALPS or SONY refurbishes drives.
Each drive is fully cleaned inside and out and the bearings and rods all have new fresh lithium grease so they will last for many years.
All drives have beige front bezels.
