For sale is a set of WW2 – 1950’s medal group comprising Defence and War Medals, both unnamed as issued, General Service Medal (1949 – 52 G.VI.R.) with three clasps, PALESTINE 1945 – 48, MALAYA, ARABIAN PENINSULA, named 1520392 CPL. F. EDWARDS. R.A.F. Royal Air Force Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (E.II.R.) named1520392 SGT F. EDWARDS. R.A.F. Court mounted for display with enlistment extract and copy newspaper article 1951.

It is believed that Frank Edwards was born in Oldham, Lancashire, England, about 1924/25. He joined the R.A.F. in the early 1940’s and served on post war rising to the rank of Sergeant.
