Victorian Black Silk Velvet Jet Beaded Sequin Net Feather Trim Evening Bonnet Hat

This antique Victorian era black silk velvet jet beaded sequin net feather trim evening bonnet hat dates from the 1880s. It is made of a black silk, velvet fabrics with a sheer net sequin beaded overlay, jet beadwork and feather trimmings on the top. This beautiful beaded black evening bonnet has a small petite half hat style, with fancy embellished details, a velvet padded brim surrounding the face, silk ribbon ties for securing under the chin and is fully lined in a black cotton fabric inside. The bonnet measures 7 by 6 1/2 inches and is in good condition, with only some slight wear to the velvet nap, tiny frays on the silk ribbon tie and a few loose missing sequins (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana millinery wearable art!
