A superb and rare photo, made from what we believe is the original negative, of a 1971 Italian Olympic ski team member in the Moto Guzzi factory windtunnel during a testing session.

This magnificent photo was made in front of the famous Moto Guzzi windtunnel at the factory grounds in Mandello del Lario, the mountainous town in Northern Italy. When testing in the windtunnel took place, the factory had to be shut down due to the large electricity consummation of the electrical propelled windtunnel engine.

In the 1950’s the windtunnel was extensively used by Moto Guzzi, for the development of their world championship winning single and multi cylinder racing machines. Later on the windtunnel was even used by some Italian Olympic teams to study their aerodynamics.

This is your rare chance to own this non period photo that reflects the glorious history of Moto Guzzi as well. Therefore it is printed in a nice large format of ca. 8" x 9" (ca. 20 x 22 cm).

Shipping costs will only be $ 7.00 regardless of how many photos you buy.   For 5 or more photos, shipping is free!
