CONDITION

Good. Spine has faded lettering and the covered have wear along joins and corners. There is an ink blotch on front cover. Endpapers have some foxing-stains. Bottom of page block has alight stain The book is unmarked. Good binding.

DESCRIPTION
The author of this book was an army bride who went with her husband's regiment to Arizona, which at the time, was probably the most turbulent and least civilized area between the borders of Canada and Mexico Here, during the year of 1874 to 1878 she underwent the experience which supply most of the contents of this book and make fascinating reading.

This book was first published in 1908 and this Lakeside Press edition contains footnotes. A map has been added to the book to illustrate the narrative.
