For Gould, Bach was always special, and his unique interpretation had an enormous impact on the music world.
This box set consists of 44 CDs, 38 CDs and 6 DVDs, and consists mainly of 30 CDs of all the Bach albums released on LP by Sony (COLUMBIA~CBS) during his lifetime, with the original design and composition of the songs at the time of the first appearance, and the paper jacket specifications. This box set covers all kinds of performances, outtakes and interviews about Bach works, including live recordings released after his death.
It also contains six DVDs worth of video work, including a performance of Bruno Monsanjon's "Goldberg Variations," a compilation of Gould's recordings and footage of Bach.
