Original Vintage Mens Citizen Stainless Steel Plated Watch 17 Jewels

New Old Stock from late 60's or early 70's and never worn

From dad's old jewellery shop which closed 1977

Another fine quality sought after watch for collector's or as a great gift made with typical Japanese precision movement.

Stainless steel plated cushion shaped  watch case with a silver face, luminescent silver batons and hands and central seconds hand

Face marked Citizen,   17 Jewels, Water protected, Shockproof, Japan made at bottom

Original manufacturers label on back reads Passed. Back marked  Citizen, Shock Proof, Water & Dust Protected, Stainless Steel plated, Unbreakable Spring, Stainless steel back. There are numbers under the label and I will provide these for anyone interested.

Original strap had deteriorated so replaced with a vintage period correct good quality Grey leather strap with lizard skin pattern

It has never been worn or used and is in good working order keeping good time.

The case size is 32mm not including crown and 7.5mm deep. 

This watch has all the high quality precision engineering you'd expect from Japanese watchmakers. An example of this is the extra clear mineral crystal glass which is 30 times harder than the average glass  and rated 98% transparency as opposed to 92% of a standard glass. Waterproof crown and rated at 10 ATM for water resistance

This watch is vintage, around 55-65 years old and unused. It has been tested and is working and keeping good time.  We recommend all mechanical watches should have servicing around every 2 - 3 years.
