For restoration Vintage Sun Standard No 2 typewriter made around 1901 in New York, designed by Lee spear Burridge First machine to use sheet metal and had a unique inking system for the typebars , fair condition missing the little inking roller otherwise looks to be complete , would need a good service but all the keys work and the advance although sticking and needs cleaning and oiling , weighs well over 5kgs , the serial number looks to be 12155 and it has a qwerty keyboard even though it belonged to a french girl
