This past week we liquidated the NYC estate of the owner of the contents of another decedent named Norris Houghton. Mr. Houghton was a theatre Impresario who spent 7 decades working in all aspects of theatre production. He was a writer. Director,  producer, lecturer, and was the founding force in establishing Off Broadway Productions. 


Mr. HOUGHTON died in 2001 but the contents of his estate passed to his friend, who kept it until his own demise.


Among this collection are several hundred editions of a magazine called MOTIVE. Thus magazine has strong religious connections but includes articles on every subject imaginable it it's issues.


Moreover, these magazine showcase art, poetry, and commentaries by some very celebrated individuals in their respective areas.


In sorting these magazines I discovered that about 2 dozen had detached or missing covers.

I gathered all if these issues together and am selling them all here in one lot.


There are about 24 magazines total which have their covers present but detached. You are bidding on all 24 plus issues here for one money.


They range from 1957 to 1968 or so. The dates of each can be seen on their covers.
