This was my very clean and looked after EPSON DX8400 STYLUS PRINTER that was fully functioning up to about a week ago after warnings of the waste-pad requiring changing as is saturated.... which am informed is an Epson Dealer professional sort out, i decided to ignore and continue using.... well now it has shut down and will not co-operate to function properly.  I know and have heard that Epson printers have a limited lifespan and once they reach a photocopy amount threshold then that is basically that, heard that the "waste pad needs changing as saturated with waste ink" causing this issue and the unit to shut down untill dealer repair maintenance is carried out.   So seems to be true as mine no longer works, looks  very clean as still got the original plastic covering on to preserve its condition.  I have no idea how to remove the pads, or reset the unit if i could do that instruction as was a brilliant unit.

SO FOR SPARES OR REPAIRS OR EVEN PARTS.   CONSIDER IT FAULTY UNTIL THE PROBLEMS / ISSUES ARE AMENDED.

NO IDEA IF IT CAN BE FIXED OR REPAIRED.
